BroadGrain Pleased to Drive Away Hunger with Farm Credit Canada

<p class="text-heading">September 16, 2014</p><p>BroadGrain Commodities Inc. (&ldquo;BroadGrain&rdquo;), a leading Canadian-based global marketer of agri-products sourced in Canada and around the world, became a Farm Credit Canada (&ldquo;FCC&rdquo;) Drive Away Hunger National Partner. As a National Partner, BroadGrain has donated $30,000 to Food Banks Canada to help feed less fortunate Canadians across the country.</p> <p>Food Banks Canada (&ldquo;FBC&rdquo;) is the national charitable organization representing and supporting the food bank community across Canada.&nbsp; Many people do not realize the extent of hunger&rsquo;s reach in this country, with close to 850,000 Canadians seeking assistance from food banks every month, of which 36.4% are children and youth. Food Banks Canada, with the support of partners like BroadGrain, works toward a vision of a Canada where no one goes hungry.</p> <p>&ldquo;BroadGrain is pleased to be a part of such an important initiative and to have a chance to get involved and to give back to the communities where we live and work&rdquo; said Zaid Qadoumi, BroadGrain&rsquo;s President and Chief Executive Officer.</p> <p>This year, starting October 13th, FCC Drive Away Hunger tour will drive throughout Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan to collect food and raise cash donations.&nbsp; If you don&rsquo;t live in an area where there is a drive, you can donate any time between now and October 17 at an&nbsp;FCC&nbsp;field centre, or&nbsp;directly&nbsp;via the internet.
