This inland elevator, located in the heart of Eastern Ontario’s agricultural community, can receive corn, beans, and all classes of wheat from farmers at harvest and throughout the marketing year. The elevator has the ability to receive deliveries from various types of equipment, ranging from gravity wagons to hopper-bottom trucks.
With a storage capacity of 50,000 metric tonnes, the Brinston elevator’s equipment can segregate grains and preserve the identity and quality of the grain it receives to consistently meet industry standards. The elevator offers its customers services such as grain storage, corn drying, grain roasting and flaking, as well as a competitive market to sell their grain. The Brinston facility is one of the few locations in Eastern Ontario capable of commercially roasting and flaking both soybeans and corn.
