Overview

BroadGrain’s North American Grain Marketing operations consist of a network of grain elevators in Southwest and Eastern Ontario, the heart of Canada’s largest corn, soybean and soft wheat growing region. From our Domestic trading offices in Stratford, Ontario and Winnipeg, Manitoba, BroadGrain’s trading team purchases feed grains from local farmers and other elevators throughout the region and delivers to customers in the feed and food processing industries, various industrial manufacturers and export markets. We are also a major distributor into the Ontario feed market of imported soybean meal and canola meal from Quebec, Western Canada, and the US.

BroadGrain’s network includes satellite and partner grain elevators, in addition to its two principal owned facilities in Seaforth and Brinston, Ontario. BroadGrain’s facilities are equipped to offer drying, elevation, storage, transloading and container loading services to farmers in the area. In addition, BroadGrain has a beanery that processes food-grade soybeans and colored beans for domestic and international customers. Our Seaforth facility has also acquired certification to handle organics through a rigorous testing procedure by an independent certifier. The Seaforth and Brinston sites have combined storage capacity of approximately 80,000 tons.

BroadGrain is a member of the Ontario Agri-Business Association (“OABA”) and the Grain and Feed Trade Association ("GAFTA").
