From our Nigerian facility in Kano, BroadGrain also processes non-GMO soybeans for crushing and food/ingredient use.
Nigeria is one of Africa’s growing soybean producers, with most cultivation in the savanna and Middle Belt states — especially Benue, Kaduna, Kano, Plateau, Nassarawa and parts of Bauchi — where the crop is planted around May–June and harvested in October–November.
Because Nigeria’s soybean sector is still largely based on conventional seed, Nigerian soybeans are naturally non-GMO.
Recent reports show Nigerian soybean output in the 1 – 1.3 million MT range. With exports rising as non gmo demand grows around the world.

Our BroadGrain Africa facility in Kano can receive, clean, process, grade and bag Nigerian non-GMO soybeans for export to:

  • Milling & Crushing Plants
  • Extruders
  • Feed millers/ poultry & livestock feed
  • Food and ingredient users
